From the basic design upward I create sites which are search engine friendly. All sites are submitted to Yahoo and Google but even so, you are not guaranteed huge traffic numbers based upon search engine referrals alone. There are a number of marketing strategies which may be suitable for your business. For example a site profile can be enhanced with the creation of reciprocal links to related sites. Ebay listings with paths back to your main site and even "Myspace profiles" are all tools which can create traffic from the wider web back to your site. The final cost of your website varies largely upon the amount of artwork and design involved. As a basic guide a simple five page site with some artwork and an email form can be set up for as little as £250. This price would also include Domain Registration and site Hosting for the first year.
